21 new Covid positive cases recorded in Negros Occidental today

Twenty one new confirmed COVID-19 positive cases were recorded in just one day in Negros Occidental, while only one in Bacolod City, today.

The Department of Health (DOH) in Western Visayas revealed that as of this morning, out of the 25 new confirmed Covid positive cases in Region 6, one is from Bacolod and 21 are from different towns and cities in Negros Occidental, and three are from Iloilo City.

These figures brought the total positive cases in Negros Occ. to 68, and 30 in Bacolod, and 228 in the entire region composed of Iloilo, Capiz, Aklan, Antique, Guimaras and Negros Occidental, the DOH Region 6 Case Bulletin No. 90 indicated.

The DOH said most of them are locally stranded individuals (LSIs) from Cebu and are under quarantine.
