Bacolod-Iloilo/Dumangas vice versa sea trips to resume June 15

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), after a meeting yesterday with fastcraft, roll on-roll off operators and other stakeholders, said commercial trips between Bacolod/Negros Occidental and Iloilo/Dumangas vice versa will resume on Monday, June 15.

Coast Guard Station-Negros Occidental Commander Jansen Benjamin, however said priority will be given to locally stranded individuals (LSI) – those who were stranded in Iloilo or Bacolod, and to those who work in Bacolod from Iloilo, and those who work in Iloilo from Bacolod.

Bacolod Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran meanwhile said all arriving passengers via fastcraft and ro-ro must undergo RT-PCR test to make sure they are not infected with COVID-19.*
