On Threat Received By E.B. Magalona School: ‘Stay calm, don’t panic’

Amid an online threat on students of EB Magalona National High School (EBMNHS) posted by unknown netizen on Facebook, Mayor Matt Malacon asked Saraviahanons “to stay calm and don’t panic.”

“We are now on top of the situation,” Malacon said. “We will get to the bottom of all this.”

Malacon has already suspended classes at EBMNHS as well as at the EB Magalona Elementary School to ensure the safety of everyone.

“We will no longer risk the safety of our students,” the mayor said.

“But rest assured that our policemen are now digging deeper into this online threat. We will not take this issue lightly. We will hold the person responsible for this absurdity or foolishness accountable,” Malacon stressed in a statement.*
