More Bacolod Vendors Receive G-Carts

Mayor Greg Gasataya turned over 15 new G-Carts to vendors along North Capitol Road Saturday, August 15 during the opening of the Bacolod Rum Festival.

They are among the 42 vendors regulated by the city who complied with requirements and renewed their special permits, granting them the opportunity to sell inside the festival venue, the Bacolod City Communications Office reported.

The initiative provides vendors with a more organized and legitimate way of earning their livelihood while being part of Bacolod’s major events, BCCO added.*
