AAB, SM Supermalls Hosts ‘Art for Everyone’ Exhibit Featuring 82 Artists

The Art Association of Bacolod (AAB) is hosting “Art for Everyone,” a combined group art exhibition featuring the works of 82 artists at SM North Block- Bacolod.

MAAB-N President and VP, Chrysee Samillano and Patty Jane Ku Ong, respectively, during the open ceremonies of SM Supermall’s event entitled, “Art for Everyone.”*

The exhibit, which opened on July 17, will run until July 30, offering the public an opportunity to experience and appreciate a diverse collection of creative works from local artists.

AAB has opened its opportunities and doors to other thriving art groups coming from Negros Occidental and Bacolod City.

The exhibition showcases a wide variety of artistic expressions, including paintings, arts and crafts, sculptures, recycled art forms, sketches, and other artworks. The diverse collection highlights the creativity, talent, and unique perspectives of the artists in all ages and walks of life.

Through “Art for Everyone,” AAB aims to make art more accessible to the public and encourage greater appreciation for different forms of artistic expression. The exhibit also provides a platform for artists to share their works with the community and connect with art enthusiasts.

Patty Jane Ku Ong, Vice President for AAB-N said during her closing remarks, that this opens ways to more artists to come together, and it also encourages the youth to join, and that no art piece is “ugly” or “small.”
