SM City Bacolod Activates OPTE for Fire-affected Families of Brgy. 10

Smiles and teamwork in action as SM volunteers deliver relief goods to fire-impacted households in Brgy. 10, Bacolod City.*

Fifty-five families affected by a recent residential fire in Purok Tambipalad, Barangay 10 received assistance from SM Foundation through its Operation Tulong Express (OPTE) program.

The distribution was carried out by the SM City Bacolod team led by Assistant Mall Manager Lorenzo Benedicto, in coordination with barangay officials headed by Barangay Captain Melvin Bravo.

“This activity was carried out under SM Foundation and SM City Bacolod in response to the recent incident,” Benedicto said. “The focus was to support the affected families through this particular relief effort.”

Operation Tulong Express is a social good program of SM Foundation, implemented in partnership with SM Supermalls and SM Markets, aimed at providing support to communities during calamities and crises.*
