Bacolod City Fire Station Initiative
Mapping fire-prone areas
Today, August 8, 2024, the Bacolod City Fire Station, under the leadership of FSupt. Jenny Mae C. Masip, City Fire Marshal, is embarking on a critical initiative as part of the Red Zone Program to update and map out fire-prone areas in our beloved city.
This proactive effort aims to enhance our fire prevention strategies and ensure the safety of all residents.
Joining FSupt. Masip in this important task are the section heads and the Chief, Fire Engine Company of the nine fire sub-stations across Bacolod. Their dedication and hard work are crucial in identifying vulnerable areas and implementing measures to mitigate fire risks.
Let’s show our support and appreciation for their commitment to keeping Bacolod safe! Together, we can build a more resilient and prepared community. Stay vigilant and informed.
Special thanks to Mr. Edmund Neil Mamon of the City Planning and Development Office of LGU Bacolod City for providing us with the map layout.* (BFP R6 Bacolod City FS SMP)
