Moises Padilla Continues Food Assistance
More than 35,000 kilos of rice has been given out by the local government of Moises Padilla to 1,932 of its residents from July to August as part of its continuing program in providing assistance to those who were not qualified for the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) of the National Government.
The program is through the initiative of the town’s mayor, Ella Celestina Garcia-Yulo, who started the distribution with Vice Mayor Adrian Villaflor and their councilors last June of this year.
As of their latest distribution, 1,331 families belonging to the 4P’s roster and has been left out from the SAP cash grant received 25 kilos pf rice, 1 kilo mung beans, and 6 cans sardines while 601 senior citizens received 6 pieces canned goods, 4 packs noodles, and 1 pack milk.*
