Dinagsa Festival: DepEd 28th Paralympiada 2026 in Cadiz City Successful

The Department of Education 28th Paralympiada 2026 was successfully held as part of the 52nd Dinagsa Festival, reinforcing the celebration’s commitment to inclusivity, unity, and equal opportunities for all under the anchored theme “One Faith. One Child. One Colorful Celebration.”

The January 23 event was welcomed by DepEd Cadiz City Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Arlene Bermejo, CESO V, and officially declared open by City Mayor Hon. Salvador Escalante Jr. It was also graced by 2nd District Representative Congressman Alfredo “Thirdy” Marañon III, City Councilors Hon. Claire Therese Consing, Hon. Frances Guanzon, Hon. Maricel Desuyo, Hon. Fria Cristine Cervantes-Napiza, and Hon. Lalen Lamis, together with Schools Division Superintendents and representatives from Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor.
