BACOLOD CITY – In response to the widespread devastation caused by natural calamities in the Negros Island, MR.DIY Philippines launched “Padayon sa Paglaum” – “Carry On with Hope” – its yearend Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

Padayon sa Paglaum marks a focused and unified initiative aimed at addressing the immediate health and recovery needs of affected communities during this challenging time.

The first stop of the initiative started with a medical mission in Brgy. VI-A, Victorias City, Negros Occidental on December 17, a coastal community severely affected by the recent typhoons.

Through free medical consultations and basic healthcare services, MR.DIY was able to assist over 170 residents, helping address immediate health concerns during a critical period of recovery.

On December 18, the medical mission made its second stop in Brgy. Mabigo, Canlaon City, Negros Oriental, where over 350 beneficiaries received medical, prenatal, dental, and optical services.

These activities formed part of MR.DIY’s needs-based approach to community support but also on dignity, care, and long-term recovery.

“Padayon sa Paglaum reflects our belief that beyond providing affordable everyday solutions, MR.DIY has a responsibility to stand with the communities we serve—especially during difficult times,” said Ms. Roselle Andaya, Chief Executive Officer of MR.DIY Philippines.

“Through these medical missions, we hope to ease the burden of affected families and remind them that they are supported as they continue to recover and rebuild.

In January, the company will distribute its “Padayon Kits” (Carry On Kits), which includes basic cleaning and hygiene items, and the “Paglaum Kits” (Hope Kits), containing basic school supplies, to provide children with essentials for back to school.

The successful implementation of the first phase of Padayon sa Paglaum was made possible through MR.DIY’s collaboration with local partners, and the local government units of Canlaon City and Victorias City, as well as volunteer doctors, local healthcare workers, and MR.DIY employee volunteers from Bacolod City.

Their collective efforts exemplify the heart of MR.DIY in serving communities with compassion, teamwork, and purpose.

With Christmas fast approaching, MR.DIY offers a message of encouragement to the communities we serve that together, we will carry on with hope.*
