PLDT, Smart Distribute Noche Buena Packages

PLDT-Smart Foundation (PSF), in partnership with PLDT Inc., Smart Communications, Inc., and provincial distributor partner FDSI, distributed 150 noche buena packages to families in Sitio Pasto, Barangay Panubigan, Canlaon City, Negros Oriental—bringing hope and warmth to those still recovering from Typhoon Tino and the multiple volcanic activities of Mt. Kanlaon earlier this year.

What makes this initiative even more heartwarming is its origin: the noche buena packages were made possible through the generosity of the Monsanto family, winners of PLDT Home’s One Mega Giveaway (OMG), who donated their ₱100,000 cash prize to PSF. Their selfless act transformed a personal blessing into a source of hope for families who need it most this Christmas season.

“This noche buena distribution in Canlaon, made possible through the generosity of PLDT Home’s OMG winner and the support of the Smart’s Sales Team, is a reminder that no family should feel alone this Christmas. We are grateful for partners who choose to pay it forward and help bring the spirit of Paskong Kapatid to communities that need it most,” shared Esther Santos, President of PLDT-Smart Foundation.
